Citizen titanium for everyday wear
Super Titanium is the technology Citizen used to make titanium a truly practical material for watchmaking. Pure titanium is lightweight and biocompatible but soft, and scratches extremely easily. Citizen solved this with a proprietary surface hardening treatment that makes the outside of the case much harder than steel while maintaining a weight approximately 40% lower. The result is a watch that feels weightless on the wrist and resists everyday scratches far better than traditional steel.

The Lady 6040 is the most understated expression of this philosophy: a 36 mm diameter, no complications, a clean silver dial, and an integrated bracelet made from the same material. It is a watch designed to be worn every day and never taken off—lightweight, hypoallergenic because it contains no nickel in contact with the skin, and requiring no maintenance.

The case
36 mm diameter Super Titanium case with Ti+IP surface treatment in the characteristic grey-silver shade of Citizen titanium. A slim profile and lugs integrated into the bracelet design ensure a compact fit even on small wrists.
