Mattia Mazza bare wire necklace with white pearls and 750 white gold clasp.
Akoya pearls are the most famous among cultured pearls and are considered as classic pearls, for making necklaces and other pearl jewelry.
A simple string of Japanese Akoya pearls, so to speak... they are a "must have" like a pair of jeans or the timeless little black dress, you absolutely must have it in your wardrobe.
Just think that even the beautiful Marylin Monroe, although she claimed in the famous song that women's best friends were diamonds, had an extraordinary necklace of Akoya pearls which was given to her by her second husband Joe DiMaggio during their honeymoon in Japan in 1954.
The necklace is made up of 44 Akoya pearls which extend over a length of approximately 41 cm and although the marriage lasted only nine months, the diva still wore the splendid necklace even during the divorce which took place in Santa Monica, California.
