At the centre of this ring is a 0.11 ct natural brilliant-cut diamond, F-G colour and VS clarity, set in 4 slender prongs. The design is contrarié: the two ends of the band do not close symmetrically, but cross and overlap beside the stone, which remains raised above the crossing. The result is a soft, asymmetrical line that draws the eye to the diamond. The band is smooth, in 18 kt white gold, and just thin enough to be worn every day.
