DESCRIPTION

An automatic watch with an open movement in a dark version

Gc is Guess's line of Swiss watches (Guess Collection), combining fashion design with Swiss Made production. Automatics are rare in the range, and this anthracite Classica is the most understated example: round polished steel case, dark dial, black strap, and a movement that can be viewed through both the case back and a window on the dial.

The dial is a two-level sunray anthracite dial: an outer ring with the minute scale and a raised central disc. The baton indices and the numbers 12, 9, and 6 are applied steel, with a raised Gc logo. At 9 o'clock, an opening reveals part of the movement. At 3 o'clock, the three-digit date display shows three consecutive dates, with an arrow indicating the current date. The hour and minute hands are silver with white inserts, and the seconds hand is slim.

This item is NOS — New Old Stock: it is not a used watch, but a piece that was never sold and remained in our remaining stock. This is confirmed by the original tag with barcode and €560 list price, and the Gc Swiss Made metal label still attached.

The case
Round 42 mm stainless steel case with a polished finish, tapered lugs, and a crown with the Gc logo at 3 o'clock. The crystal is sapphire and the case back is open, engraved with "WATER RESISTANT 100M - MECHANICAL - SAPPHIRE CRYSTALS - N°00272 - GC SWISS MADE - X84003G5S/03". Declared water resistance: 100 meters.

The dial
Two-level sunray anthracite dial. Applied steel baton indices and numbers 12, 9, and 6. Opening at 9 o'clock showing the movement. Three-digit date display at 3 o'clock with an indicator arrow. The dial features the "Gc" logo and the words "AUTOMATIC" and "SWISS MADE" at 6 o'clock. Silver hour and minute hands with white inserts and a central seconds hand.

The movement
Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement, 25 jewels, based on the ETA, as reported by sources on the model. The custom rotor features the Gc logo and the words "25 JEWELS - GC SWISS MADE" and is visible through the case back. Functions: hours, minutes, central seconds, and three-digit date display.

The strap
Black leather strap with crocodile print and light contrasting stitching. The light leather lining features an embossed Gc logo and the words "GENUINE LEATHER". Steel deployant clasp.

Functional condition
Unused NOS item, with the original tag and label still attached. All functions operate normally.
