Luciano Pavarotti Fountain Pen Limited Edition 4810 - 111673
On stage, Pavarotti wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and a white bow tie, which inspired the Limited Edition 4810 in black and white lacquer. The delicate floral motifs on the red lacquer cone, as well as the turquoise cabochon, are reminiscent of the colorful Hawaiian shirts often worn by Pavarotti. Oriental influences related to music are reflected in the black and white lacquer dragon with red garnet eyes that adorns the hood. The refined engravings depicting decorations linked to the opera adorn the Au 750 gold cone, embellished with a faceted garnet. In both Limited Editions, the Au 750 solid gold nib is decorated with a delicate engraving of Pavarotti's unusual lucky charm: a curved nail. The Limited Editions also feature the gold-finish clip that recalls the large extravagant scarves typical of Pavarotti. The front of the Limited Edition is embellished with five engraved rings, which symbolize the five imposing tiers of boxes of the “Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti”.
