Sector automatic chronograph from the No Limits collection, model 900, with a 38 mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 metres. It is powered by the Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. It features a black dial with luminous Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o’clock, and three sub-dials. It is NOS (New Old Stock): an unworn piece with the original tag still attached and the original Sector box. The original strap, which had become worn, has been replaced with a non-Sector black rubber strap. The reference number 2621998025 is still engraved on the case back.

DESCRIPTION

Sporty by design, Swiss-made movement

Sector is an Italian sports watch brand, and the No Limits line is its most recognisable expression: instant readability, a robust case, and a bold character. The 900 is a steel chronograph that combines an understated dial with a Swiss-made movement, a fluted bezel, and a splash of red that brings the design to life.

At the heart of the watch is the Valjoux 7750 automatic movement, one of the most widely used and proven chronograph calibres in Swiss watchmaking. It is powered by the movement of the wrist, so no battery is required. It can be serviced by any watchmaker, and spare parts are readily available. The chronograph is operated by two pushers on either side of the crown.

This piece is NOS — New Old Stock: it is not a pre-owned watch, but an unworn piece that has remained in our warehouse inventory. The original tag is still attached to the watch and shows the original retail price of 1,598,000 lire.

The case
Round 38 mm stainless steel case with a polished finish and tapered lugs. The bezel is made of steel with a fluted edge. A minute track with red and white numerals runs around the edge of the dial. The crown and pushers are protected by side guards. The crystal is made of sapphire. The steel case back is engraved with “WATER RESISTANT 100 METERS”, “SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL”, “STAINLESS STEEL”, “AUTOMATIC”, “REGISTERED DESIGN”, “SWISS MADE”, the number 2621998025 with the code 0039, and the “SECTOR NO LIMITS” logo in the centre. Water resistance to 100 m (330 ft).

The dial
Black dial with applied luminous Arabic numerals. Luminous sword-shaped hour and minute hands, and a central chronograph seconds hand. The date window is at 3 o’clock. The chronograph 30-minute sub-dial is at 12 o’clock, the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and the 12-hour chronograph sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The dial is inscribed with “SECTOR 900”, “SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL”, “100M AUTOMATIC 330 ft”, and “SWISS MADE”.

The movement
Valjoux 7750 automatic movement with self-winding mechanism. Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph with minute and hour counters.

The strap
Black rubber strap with a steel deployment clasp. It is not the original Sector strap: the original had become worn and has been replaced.

Operating condition
Unworn piece with the original tag still attached. The watch is fully functional in all its features.

Transparency note: the strap is not the original Sector strap, but a black rubber strap that replaced the original, which had become worn. The watch is sold with the original Sector box and original tag, but without an official brand warranty: it is covered by a 24-month Gioielleria Cola 1890 warranty on its operation. These factors are already reflected in the price.
